Net waste activated sludge produced each day, measured in terms of volatile SS.
Yobs, Observed yield (g/g) = Y/ ( 1+ Kd A)
                        Assuming Y: 0.65 g cells/g BODs
                                         Kd : 0.06 d-1
                                         A : 10 days ( Mean cell-residence time)
Q= Flowrate ( CDM)
So: influent soluble BOD5 escaping treatment

      X(kg/day)= X1( sludge from SS) + X2( sludge from soluble BOD and
                     endogenous decay)
                   = [Q( Mo-Mf )/ 1000] + [ (aY-bMV)/1000 ]

Mo: influent SS( mg/l)
Mf: effluent SS (mg/l)
  a : Sludge transfer rate ( 0.5-0.8)
  Y: BOD Removal ( kg/day)
  b : Endogenous decay coefficient(d-1) ( 0.01-0.1)
  M: MLSS in reactor tank ( mg/l)
  V : Reactor volume ( m3 )
